• Can I lay Origineel Chapel Parket if I have underfloor heating?
Yes. Applying floor heating under an engineered Origineel Chapel Parket ‘In Between’ floor is no problem. Combining floor heating with a solid wooden floor is not recommended. Ask your dealer for additional information about laying your wooden floor over floor heating without any problems.

 
• Can I lay Origineel Chapel Parket in the kitchen?
Yes, it is possible to lay Original Chapel Parket in your kitchen. The floorboards are adequately treated to be installed in kitchens. Maintenance consists of mopping with the supplied mopping agent. Any wear and tear can easily be fixed on the spot.

• Can I lay Origineel Chapel Parket in a flat?
If you want to lay a wooden floor in flats, always take the sound standard into account. This standard is determined by the Homeowner Association or by housing corporations. This is why wooden floors are nearly always sprung in flats. By using a sprung floor, the contact noise level is reduced to maximum 11 dB.

• Can I lay Origineel Chapel Parket in the newly-built house?
Yes, Origineel Chapel Parket can be laid in newly-built houses. The important factor is that the finished floor should not contain too much moisture. In general, this is normally the case. If this is not the case, you would have to wait until the residue moisture has evaporated from the new floors. This process can be accelerated by using construction dryers. If the floor is still too damp because the floor surface was poured too close to the delivery date, you would be better off waiting a few weeks before installing wood floorboards. In addition, it is important to finish all the work activities, such as installing the kitchen unit, tiling and plastering, before the floor is installed.

• What is the delivery time of Origineel Chapel Parket?
An Origineel Chapel Parket floor is unique and is produced by hand especially for you. Each Origineel Chapel Parket floor is only taken into production after your order. That’s why the delivery time of Origineel Chapel Parket is 4 weeks. However, Origineel Chapel Brute takes 5 weeks to deliver.

• What is a micro-bevelled edge?
A micro-bevelled edge (aka vee butt joint) is an edge at the long side of the board that is bevelled under an angle of 45º. Origineel Chapel Parket is available with or without micro. Boards without microbevel connect to each other seamlessly, causing the floor to look like one entity, almost without gluing.
