Green Production

As manufacturers of a beautiful natural product, environmental-friendliness is obviously a very important aspect for us. We generate our own power from the wood residue that is created in the intensive planing processing. Therefore, Chapel Parket is manufactured from 100% green current. In addition, our surplus energy provides power to approx. 3500 households.

A long-lasting parquet floor
We combine sustainable use of raw materials with equally sustainable production: From the waste that we separate up to the sustainable energy that we generate in our power plant. A unique procedure in the Netherlands that results in top quality products.

Wood from forests under responsible forest management
To make an environment-friendly decision, it is important to find out where the wood comes from. Our preference is wood from forests that adhere to responsible forest management. Wood that comes from trees grown in sustainable forestry is more environment-friendly than wood that comes from virgin rain forests.

Selective felling
Responsible forest management entails felling only those trees that are useable and planting new trees instead. Properly done, it retains the forest's riches.

From wood to heat
In Houtindustrie Schijndel, wood residue released during wood processing is converted into heat for the drying and lacquering processes and for environment-friendly heating of the buildings.
